Called my work number at 9:15, and was transferred to my extension. The lady said she was calling to verify my job title and employment.....Who speaks to the employee directly to verify anything???? I told her no and that I have not applied for any credit so there is no need for me to give her that info- She said ok thank you and hung up......Makes me nervous that my life is about to be hacked!

the person has been very rude to me calling my work. Yelling at people on the other end.

Some guy asked for my husband I didn't confirm he was there or not and then I told him "no" and he hung up. Tried to call back and it didn't ring or anything! Put a block on the number from Comcast

Woke me up at dawn here in Seattle, though I saw it was a Rhode Island phone number and didn't pick up. Once I got ready for work a few hours later, I called it and received a really nasty woman from Fidelity Investments saying that there is no such thing as a "no call" list for them because only their Financial Advisors do the calling. We have never had anything to do with Fidelity and have owned our phone number (cell in this case) for nine years. Woman was incredibly rude.

the lady said she needed by SS card and picture id faxed to her for verification of who i was. we had just applied for a loan earlier in the week, but that lady said she had all the info she needed.

I've read several websites stating that these calls are possibly a really big scam. I don't have credit cards with any of the banks they said, and the credit cards I do have are paid off on time.

A friend from Europe called me. Seeing the 02 in front I didn't believe him and asked if he was calling from Sydney NSW. He assured that he was calling from Europe.

Phone rang, I saw the caller ID, picked up the phone after the second ring, no one was there.

calls 20 times a day and leaves no number. i have no account with chase so best thing is suit and injunctive relief.

Said he was contracted out to deliver me a summons to appear in court. He'd made to attempts to deliver legal docs to me. If I or my attorney did not return phone call within 24 hours, I'd be taken to court and my silence would be taken as a right to refusal. He called my 75 year old Mother. It's got to stop.
